Soft, savory Bossam — wrapped the Korean way.

Bossam is tender boiled pork traditionally enjoyed with fresh greens or napa cabbage, saeujeot, garlic, chili and flavorful Korean side dishes.

A softer, milder partner to Ssam.

Unlike Jokbal’s chewy, deeply seasoned character, Bossam is soft and clean-tasting. Fresh vegetables and savory accompaniments bring out the pork’s delicate flavor.

  1. Bossam step 1 - prepare lettuce or napa cabbage 1
    Prepare the pickled cabbage

    Start with a lightly salted napa cabbage piece, cut into an easy-to-eat size.

  2. Bossam step 2 - add one slice of bossam 2
    Add the Bossam

    Place one tender slice of Bossam in the center.

  3. Bossam step 3 - add saeujeot or ssamjang 3
    Add a little sauce

    Add a small amount of saeujeot or ssamjang to complement the mild pork.

  4. Bossam step 4 - add garlic jalapeno and kimchi 4
    Add the accompaniments

    Add sliced garlic, jalapeño, and a little kimchi or seasoned radish.

  5. Bossam step 5 - wrap and enjoy 5
    Wrap & enjoy

    Fold everything into a neat bite-size wrap and enjoy it in one bite.
